All students are expected to undertake at least one enrichment activity that is designed to enhance their Sixth Form experience. Activities this year have included:
"We enjoy doing in-class support as it is a chance to experience what teaching a subject we are passionate about is like. It is an opportunity to develop our leadership and organisational skills, which is hugely important to us as we begin to prepare for university or employment."
"Taking part in the school musical is one of the best experiences I have ever had. I met so many new people and had loads of fun."
"I have loved being part of the Sixth Form Football team this year. It has been great fun and I can’t wait to start training again in September."
Charity Week 2015 was yet another success from start to finish with pupils and staff of Woldgate School and Sixth Form College raising a grand total of £1600. This annual week brings colour, imagination and a general atmosphere that separates it from any other week of the year.
This year, several of our Year 12 students have spent their enrichment supporting at the Day Centre - they have worked on many activities including a retirement party and birthday party, and have built up lasting relationships with the day centre users.
